Okanagan Fisheries Foundation is a non profit organization made up of local businesses, individuals and government officials in an effort to enhance and build awareness about our Regions Fisheries. Our fish habitat and species play an important part of our ecosystem and are a measure of the health of our waterways.

The reintroduction of Sockeye into Osoyoos Lake has been a tremendous success. People are amazed to learn that Salmon use to spawn here and have now returned. This is an excellent example of what can be done to correct mistakes made in the past to our environment. We need more work like this by groups like yours.

Every dollar we raise goes towards building a healthier and stronger fisheries in our region. After 150 years of human impact and environmental pressure we are starting nurture our lakes and streams back to health. This recovery will take time and we need your help.
Spread the Word
Through our media and grassroots efforts we are spreading the word about the tremendous value our fisheries have to our community. We need your help in promoting awareness and gaining support for our many projects.
